What is a Life Group (LG)

Our main purpose in Life Group is to create a Christ‑centered community where people can connect with the Body of Christ, grow in their understanding of God’s Word, and learn to apply it in their everyday lives through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Life Group consists of 3 to 12 people who gather regularly to encourage and challenge one another to grow spiritually and connect with some friends who are going in the same direction.

Sometimes the best description is simply a group of people who want to make some friends and become more like Christ. Life Groups are typically organized by age and life stage. They meet in homes at various times during the week. Bible study is an important aspect of the group meetings. Fellowship and service are also important.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
