The First Responder Unit (FRU) provide opportunities for all individuals who have a Basic Life Support Certification to serve and volunteer at GNWC by assisting in all emergency medical situations during Sunday services and special events. They are a medical team that comprises of healthcare workers from various settings and whose main function is to provide first aid and appropriate care for people or individuals until other local agencies and authorities arrives at the scene when the situation warrants it.
