INTRODUCTION
If you ask Christians whether they would rather have Jesus beside them or the Spirit inside them, which do you think most would choose?
EXPERIENCING THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place” v.1
120 disciples were at the point of uncertainties where their only hope was anchored on the statement of Jesus that they must wait in Jerusalem for the promised of the Father.
“Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.” v.2
The Holy Spirit invaded the upper room in Jerusalem and broke their silence with a violent sound from heaven.
“They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.” v.3
For the first time, they witnessed something supernatural, the Holy Spirit manifested Himself in the form of ‘tongues of fire.
“All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” v.4
All of them in the upper room were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the heavenly language.
THE SIGNIFICANCE OF EXPERIENCING THE HOLY SPIRIT?
1. Experiencing the Holy Spirit ____________________ the spirit of boldness and makes us a powerful witness of the gospel.
2. Experiencing the Holy Spirit brings ____________________ transformation.

CONCLUSION
“The moment we personally experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives, is when we will be change into a different person.”
John 16:7
But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
