– Death and life are in the power of our tongue (Proverbs 18:21; 21:23)

– It can destroy friendship (Proverbs 11:9)

– The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity (James 3:8;10)

Mark 11:23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Isaiah 55:11 “So is my Word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God which transcend all understanding will guards your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 1:5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.

Children of God should not make a general confession by acknowledging their innumerable sins in a vague manner, because such confession does not provide a conscience opportunity to do its perfect work.
