INTRODUCTION: * What is WILL? What is DESIRE?

WILL as: (inwardly)

A Noun: the faculty by which a person decides on and initiates action; a deliberate or fixed desire or intention.

A Verb: expressing the future tense; expressing facts about ability or capacity.

DESIRE as: (outwardly- because of the 5 senses- hearing, seeing, touching, taste and smell)

A Noun: a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.

A Verb: strongly wish for or want (something).

How then can we align our WILL and DESIRE in the SPIRIT?

Philippians 4:8 (AMP)

1) Whatever is TRUE (essential; what is in accordance; truthful) and HONORABLE and worthy of respect (outstanding; excellent)

Titus 2:7-8 Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.

2) Whatever is RIGHT (righteous; upright) and confirmed by God’s Word and PURE and wholesome.

Matt. 6:33; Ps. 119:105; Ps. 119:11; Deut. 11:18

3) Whatever is LOVELY (exquisitely beautiful; delightful) and brings Peace, whatever is ADMIRABLE and of Good Repute

Ps 84:1-2; Gal 5:22-23

CONCLUSION:

Luke 22:42 (TPT) saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup [of divine wrath] from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done.”
