OBJECTIVES

To understand the essence and importance of Baptism in the Holy Spirit within the biblical perspective.

To learn the biblical reason and purpose (the why) of being baptize in the Holy Spirit.

To gain a deeper knowledge of how the Holy Spirit works in the lives of the believers.

To learn the benefits and blessings of being baptized in the Spirit.

To manifest and show forth the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.

To receive and experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit and be able to operate in the gifts of the Spirit.


INTRODUCTION

Important truths we need to learn and understand about baptism in the Holy Spirit.

The greatest work of the Holy Spirit in our lives is to conform our characters to the image of Christ.

The great aim of the Holy Spirit working in us is that we might be holy and that we might show forth in our lives the purity, passion, and power of our Lord.

The manifestation of the gift and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit is for the purpose of showing God’s grace and His power which comes solely from God and to lead people to Christ.


WHAT IS BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT?

It is a promised from the Father that can only be administered by Jesus who is the true baptizer.

It is referred to that moment in which the Spirit first began to operate in the believers’ lives.
